* 12 yr old speaks at the U.N.

While we listen now to the many speeches by powerful world leaders at the U.N., we should be reminded of the 1992 eloquent speech to the U.N.  by then 12 yr old, Severn Suzuki. Did ANYONE actually listen to her and take her words to heart? What she said THEN was more important and profound than anything we hear TODAY, 17 years later.
