Anti-President Obama people are promoting the use of Psalm 109:9 on bumper stickers, T-shirts, teddy bears and gift items. These people are either totally evil or ignorant of the Bible, from which they quote. It's OK to "Pray for Obama," but to put that expression with Psalm 109 is questionable.
"A Biblical quote is being spread by President Barack Obama haters, as reported this week in The Christian Science Monitor: Pray For President Obama - Psalm 109 Verse 8. What's Psalm 109:8? It reads 'Let His Days Be Few, And Let Another Take His Office.' Let his days be few. Uh, it's followed immediately by another verse: 'Let His Children Be Fatherless, And His Wife A Widow.' (1)
We have popular "men of God", like pastor Steven Anderson promoting the killing of the President, gays, and abortionists. Anderson has like-minded followers who may be commanded by the spirit some day to act on that HATE.
The evangelical waraholic Christians need to see the hypocrisy of their ways. Many of these same "holy and noble" people called those of us who dared to question President Bush's rush for war, as "evil" and "against God's plans." Those same people quoted Romans 13:1-7 to the anti-war people, which states: " Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authorities that exist have been established by God." In other words, they said that Bush became President because of God's plans, and because of that, Bush should NOT have been questioned.. Hitler was God's rep too? It gets confusing.. You mean, President Obama is NOT God's rep?
These same "holy and noble" people are NOW trying to use Psalm 109 to incite rebellion against the authority of the US. Talk about flip, flop, flipping unbelievable!
