2009 - Congress advised (via fax from The Institute for Research: Middle Eastern Policy) that US aid is governed by the Symington Amendment.
2009 - President Barak Obama advised (via letter) that US aid is governed by the Symington Amendment

My thoughts: Seems "aid" ($$$) to Israel is ILLEGAL under the terms and conditions of the Symington Amendment.
