International human rights workers film IDF harassment of Palestinian fishermen in Gazan waters



The harassment and aggressions towards Palestinian fishing vessels by the Israeli Navy inside Gazan waters occur every day. 
Last year over 70 arrests and imprisonments. Since 2000 at least 14 fishermen killed. 
Normally the Israeli gunboat attack the fishermen and their vessels with either 25-30 mm canons, mounted 12,7 mm machine guns, M-16 rifles or grenades. 
When the weather gets colder weapon is high power water canons. 
The water canons are able to split the steering houses apart and injure the fishermen aboard.
When night fishing the fishermen are continuously fired upon and soaked with water to keep them cold. 
Moments after this footage was taken as Italian human rights worker was hit by flying glass when the water canon smashed through the windows of the steering house.
The shards lacerated his back leaving two deep cuts. 
International human rights workers will obviously continue accompanying the fishermen.
