My thoughts: As of today 1,618 coalition troops have been killed in Afghanistan. Of that number, 978 were American men and women sent to Afghanistan to... what's the reason now...? For some hair brain reason.. like to "protect freedom?" Still running after what's his name... Osama bin Laden... "dead or alive?" Protect the opium fields? Protect the Trans-Afghan Pipeline? Troops have been in Afghanistan since Oct 2001.... MORE than 8 years. What exactly has been accomplished there in that time period? The puppet Karzi government is STILL corrupt. Absolutely no change in EIGHT years?
