*S.C. a joke?

Terrorists who want to overthrow the United States government must now register with South Carolina's Secretary of State and declare their intentions -- or face a $25,000 fine and up to 10 years in prison.
The state's "Subversive Activities Registration Act," passed last year and now officially on the books, states that "every member of a subversive organization, or an organization subject to foreign control, every foreign agent and every person who advocates, teaches, advises or practices the duty, necessity or propriety of controlling, conducting, seizing or overthrowing the government of the United States ... shall register with the Secretary of State."
There's even a $5 filing fee.

My thoughts: The recent US Supreme Court ruled that any and all corporations are allowed to bribe, oops.. I mean "donate" any amount $$$ to a political campaign.  Since THIS is also perceived as trying to "control" the US, THOSE corporations would be required too, under the new SC law to file as a subversive organization. "Subversive" organizations would also include KKK, John Birch Society, white supremacists, anti-war groups.. The list goes on and on..How about adding the AIPAC and tea party members?
Seriously, what the heck is going on in SC? Is there something swimming around in the drinking water? The SC "Christian" Governor Mark Sanford, who compares himself to the Biblical King Solomon openly commits adultery. The SC Lt Gov, Andre Bauer (R) recently compared providing government assistances to individuals in Greenville, SC to "feeding stray animals." And now SC has an act that requires "subversives" to admit that they are "subversives" and to go to their local court house and register as a "subversive" and pay a fee. AHHH.. good luck.
Thanks to the Internet the international community can see the following video. They may come to the conclusion that SC elected officals, like the young lady in this video, are products of South Carolina's education system?
