* WHO won WHAT?

Seems with more hostilities in Afghanistan, the American MSM has directed our attention from Iraq to Afghanistan. Afghanistan  now seems to be the "main war," while Iraq is the "minor war."  Many Americans say the war in Iraq is "OVER" and "has been WON." But can those same Americans tell us: "WHO won WHAT"?

Things are falling in place for the REAL winners of the Iraq war. Major electric deals were made with Siemens and GE. In Feb 2009 a contract was made with the British Mesopotamia Petroleum Co. In Nov 2009 a contract was awarded to a consortium that includes Exxon Mobil corp. and the Royal Dutch Shell to develop the West Quana oilfield.

But that's not all. Peter Galbraith, who was fired from the U.N. mission in Afghanistan, (who said he was fired for warning of fraud and corruption in Afghanistan's presidential elections), once worked in Iraq as an U.S. diplomat. Seems he had a financial connection with a Norwegian oil company. The Norwegian oil company obtained oil contracts in the Kurdish area of Iraq.

The wheeling and dealing continues in Iraq. The countries with the most "interests" will play a part with it's continued military presence. As time goes on there will be many more "winners" from both Iraq and Afghanistan.

By the way, how's the Trans-Afghan Pipeline coming along?
