It's been said that the majority of cadets at West Point are conservative and Republican. Therefore it's NO surprise that many of them gave President Obama a cool reception Tuesday night. If a REPUBLICAN President had made the very SAME troop surge announcement, using the same EXACT words, the reaction SURELY (I bet'cha) would have been VERY enthusiastic.
President Obama tried to appease his own political party by including the approximate time for withdrawal. He went along with the Republicans, the waraholics and the military with his decision for a troop surge. Just think. There were two choices...(1) MORE troops... or (2) NO more troops. So to all you bloody waraholics.. you got your bloody wish. Stop your ridiculous, idiotic, bellyaching complaining. The ONLY ones who should be disgusted, disappointed and complaining are the anti-war people.
