* The People Speak

This Sunday, Dec 13 at 8pm ET, 9pm CT, The History channel will be presenting "The People Speak." It will be narrated by acclaimed historian Howard Zinn and based on his book: A People's History of the United States and Voices of a People's History." On a NBC interview this morning, Howard Zinn said that he is not against the military... that he believes the military CAN question authority. That's their patriotic duty. They CAN question WHY they are sent to war. Those in power should think long and hard before making military decisions. Democracy is not a spectator sport.
